TODAY’S DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
Isaiah 49:16 – See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands
There must be millions of sick people in this world at any given time. Christians must be praying to God for assistance and care in hospitals, nursing homes, and care facilities.
But God is quite active. He is in charge of an entire world. Famines, wars, earthquakes, and other natural disasters are all currently occurring. There are sinners to condemn and innocent people to save. There is also the monumental task of spreading the Gospel that he has set for himself.
The hands of God are full. You are a tiny dot in a vast, overwhelming world of problems; does he really have time for you?
We tie a string around a finger when we need to remember something but are busy. Every time we move our hands, it is something we constantly notice. God surpasses our standards. He says, “I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands.” Your name is inscribed on the palms of his hands. Your name is always in front of him when he does something. He is not overcommitted for you. He has taken steps to ensure he never forgets you. No matter how busy he is, he will keep you and your prayers at the forefront of his mind.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to have faith to pray to you constantly because you are constantly thinking of me. Amen.
