I will never be shaken
“He alone is my Rock and my Salvation: he is my Fortress. I will never be shaken.” – Psalm 62:2
Our legs may shake for a number of reasons, including anxiety about upcoming medical procedures such as lab tests or surgery, pain experienced during rehabilitation, or simple weakness.
God provides us with something to cling to by making himself available to us in the role of the Rock. Because of his forgiveness, we have a secure future and assurances that our commitments will not be broken. This confidence that we have in our Lord cannot be shaken, regardless of the circumstances.
Prayer:
Even though our knees may shake, our Rock is what keeps us stable. I cling to you, Lord, as my Rock and my Redeemer. Please hear my prayer. Maintain your stability around me despite the unpredictability that surrounds me. Amen.
