He has a plan for our lives
Assurance
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life;…The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; Your love, O Lord, endures forever — do not abandon the works of your hands.” –Psalm 138:7-8
This current circumstance is just one of the many difficulties that sin brings into a person’s life. What a barren and miserable existence we would have if we were unaware of a merciful God, his Son as our Redeemer, and his Holy Spirit as our Comforter.
He has a plan for our lives, and it is a glorious plan: to bring us back to paradise after it has been restored. He does not forsake us, even though we are the pinnacle of his creation. May we not close the door to him.
Prayer:
O God, keep your frail and trembling sheep from temptation, danger, and destruction. Amen.
