TODAY’S DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
You are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit
Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. -3 John 1:2
You might become so engrossed in the chaos of the holiday season that you forget to take care of your body. Here is an acronym that uses the word “health” to motivate you in your pursuit of general wellness:
Heart: It’s crucial to protect both your physical and spiritual heart. Your earthly life comes to an end if your heart stops beating.
Emotions: Protect your thoughts, for that is where your emotions come from. Develop healthy emotional self-control. Stress and anxiety can cause your body to become ill if they are not managed.
Awareness: Acquaint yourself with the various health problems you might be predisposed to, and take proactive steps to avoid those high-risk situations.
Life – When you properly look after your overall health, including your body, mind, soul, and spirit, you will live a longer, more independent life.
Time: Make the effort to eat healthily, exercise, and value downtime.
Happy – God is more content with your efforts the more you follow His instructions.
God wants you to have a strong spirit and a sound body so you can fully enjoy life.
