Great Physician
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You today to ask that You bring genuine joy into my life. Please hear my prayer and answer it. I am aware that I do not have any influence over the turbulence that occurs in my life, but I do have a choice regarding how I will react to it when it occurs. I am aware that You are the Great Healer, and the prescription that You have given to each and every one of us is to have a joyful heart.
I ask God to assist me in incorporating that into my daily life despite the challenges that I am currently facing. Please hear my prayer. I also ask that You would use me in the lives of those around me to bring happiness and sunshine. Please hear my prayer. In the Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
