Honor in Healthy Living
Father, I rejoice in the awesome reality that You have made your home in me, and that the temple that is my physical being is one in which You dwell. If I ever disrespect that temple, I beg your forgiveness. Forgive me for the times when I fall short of spending time in Your Word and praying at Your feet. I am in need of Your strength and power in order to exercise godly self-control. I want to improve my health in every facet of my life, both for my own benefit and for the glory of the Lord.
Prayer:
I humbly repent of any sin of neglect, abuse, or disuse that may have contributed to the deterioration of my physical body, and I ask your forgiveness. Today I want to make some changes to improve my health, first for the sake of your kingdom here on earth, and then for my own personal advantage. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
