The Light of the World
John 8:12 (NIV)
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.'”
John was lost in a dark forest, uncertain of his path. Suddenly, a beam of light pierced the darkness. It was a guide leading him to safety. John realized that Jesus is like that light, guiding us through life’s uncertainties.
Jesus is the light that dispels the darkness of our lives. As we follow Him, His light guides us, illuminates our path, and brings life into every corner of our existence. Today, let’s walk in the light of His presence.
Lord Jesus, you are the Light of the world. Illuminate our path and lead us safely through life’s uncertainties. May we follow you faithfully, knowing that in your light, we find guidance and hope. In your name, we pray. Amen.
