The Joy of Serving Others
Galatians 5:13 (NIV)
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”
John volunteered at a local shelter, serving meals to the homeless. Initially, he did it out of duty, but over time, he discovered the joy of selfless service and found a deeper purpose.
True freedom comes from serving others in love. Let’s humbly embrace the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around us.
Prayer:
Gracious God, open our hearts to the joy of serving others. May our actions reflect your love and compassion as we humbly serve those in need. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
