The Blessing of Contentment
1 Timothy 6:6 (NIV)
“But godliness with contentment is great gain.”
Mark had always chased after success, thinking it would bring happiness. But he realized that true contentment came from a godly life. He found peace in simplicity and understood that in godliness and contentment, there is great gain.
In our pursuit of success, we often overlook the blessing of contentment. 1 Timothy 6:6 reminds us that godliness with contentment is a treasure. Let’s find joy in a simple and godly life, where true happiness resides.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, grant us the gift of contentment in our pursuit of godliness. Help us find great gain in a life centered on you, where true happiness is found. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
