TODAY’S DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
Embracing God’s Revelation
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV)
– “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
In our journey of faith, God continually reveals Himself to us, inviting us into deeper intimacy and understanding of His character. As we behold His glory with unveiled faces, we are transformed by His Spirit, reflecting His image more fully in our lives. Embracing God’s revelation leads to transformation, renewal, and a deeper walk with Him.
Story: Consider the story of Moses, who experienced a profound encounter with God on Mount Sinai. As he communed with God, his face shone with the radiance of God’s glory, so much so that he had to veil his face when speaking to the Israelites. However, in the New Testament, we see a different picture. Through the work of Christ, believers now have unveiled faces and direct access to God’s presence. We are invited to behold His glory and experience transformation in His presence.
Just as Moses encountered God’s glory on the mountain, we too can experience His presence and be transformed by His Spirit. As we spend time in prayer, worship, and studying His Word, we open ourselves up to His revelation and allow Him to work in and through us. Let us embrace God’s revelation with open hearts and unveiled faces, trusting that He will continue to transform us into His image.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of knowing You and experiencing Your presence in our lives. Help us to have unveiled faces, that we may behold Your glory and be transformed by Your Spirit. May Your revelation continually lead us into deeper intimacy with You and bring about lasting change in our lives. We surrender ourselves to You, Lord, and ask that You would have Your way in us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
